“Honey, I’m home.” Yngvi took off his hat and coat and hung them on the coatrack.
“Welcome home, darling. Dinner’s almost ready.” Kees planted a firm kiss on Vi’s cheek. For the occasion, he was dressed in a frilly apron and pearl necklace over his slacks and t-shirt. He handed Yngvi a martini. “How was your day at the office?”
“Exhausting.” Vi took a seat in the leather armchair they’d bought for this, and put his feet up on the ottoman Kees brought him “Thanks, doll, you’re a dear.”
He pulled Kees in for a kiss before they started laughing.
